Try to determine if you've affected the fuel/air flow. Is she backfiring more or less? Is there a change in sparkplug color? Does she put out some smoke? ....flame? Etc, etc....
I put on a pipe that considerably leaned out my mixture (by significantly lessening back pressure). There are also other mods you can do (look for posts about the "white spacer" or the "pilot" screw) to the carb to play with the mixture. If you do rejet, it is really easy, see my post called "the on-going saga of carb tinkering" a ways back down the board.
